CIP Tank
Cleaning in place tanks, or CIP tanks, enable chemical products to automatically clean the food processing facility. The system is made up of several tanks that hold different cleaning solutions, such as alkaline solutions based on caustic soda and neutralizing acid (often nitric acid).
The CIP tank's design minimizes cleaning time and maximizes solution recovery through recirculation and conductivity control for neutralization in the subsequent cycle.
